  1. After going Under the Sea, our pixie dust took us over to Anna and Elsa. Now, I’m not sure if she’s trying to stay in character or what, but Elsa wasn’t very talkative or personable. I tried to make a joke asking if she was still single, and she didn’t play at all. Oh well, Z still liked meeting her (again). Anna, on the other hand, was awesome. She had Z practicing how to throw snowballs and really took a lot of time with him. Next up was the Mine Train. The line was wrapped around the mountain, but thanks to our pixie dust, we used our FP+ and hoped on. The FP+ line does seem
  2. I had told Jason we were going to joke with the guy and tell him he owed us a beer, but he was a grandfather taking his grandkids on a Disney trip. He was mortified, and I couldn't even joke with him because he was so nice. It was the best start ever! Well, except for getting into the site so late, but what happened the next day made up for that. You inspired me to take him on the race cars. Maybe that's why we got stuck with orange and blue. I will remember his face and excitement forever. It was awesome. Welcome and thanks for joining! Any chance you'll be there next year?
  3. It was unexpected and super cool. The CMs went above and beyond to make us happy. I was and am impressed. I think you'll be surprised at my crowd pictures the next day. That car... barf! Welcome aboard! The guy next to me was being a total ass. Some people amaze me. So awesome! And hey, it's not even lunch yet. There's a Fiend meet-up coming later this day. So glad you're in! My business trip certainly turned magical. Z's faces kill me. That kid is funny. And thank you. :)
  4. Make sure you have 1 full day left on the ticket. Also, double check that they make the expiration date 1 year from the first time the ticket was used. When I upgraded mine in July, they made it a year from the date of purchase. I didn't realize that until I got home and saw online. If it's messed up, it can only be fixed in person at Guest Services.
  5. I was intimidated to do it at first, but I promise, it's actually easy.
  6. Let’s continue… This trip was different from our previous trips for a few reasons. First, it was last minute and during a major holiday. I’ve done some last minute trips, so I know how to work the FP+ system in those cases. During the planning, I was able to successfully get FP+ for 7DMT and the Frozen girls (although the time for the sisters was not ideal). I also kept checking ADRs and lucked into some good ones. Because of the trip being last minute, we were in a preferred site because that’s what opened up; that was a first for us. I figured we’d like being closer to the Settlement, espe
  7. Thanks for joining! Are you scared because you're in it or scared because you've now met me in person? I wish we had PJ day at my school! Z was sooooooooooooooooooo excited about the tree because he got to decorate it all by himself. The iPad lady was crazy. That was downtown in Atlanta rush hour. Awesome! Z is certainly expressive! He really could. You aren't the first person to say that. What a great present! Feel free to adopt me. Here comes more. Great! It was nice to meet you. :) Are you going to write a TR? Thanks!
  8. Sorry I killed the other thread, but you get first poster bragging rights! Congrats! More is about to come! Thank you for being patient. :) Excellent! Whooo Hoooo! Great! And appearing in the TR bragging rights! Here comes the pixie dust! Spolier: We loved the 100 loop. It was extra, super magical! Yay!
  9. You have to use a site like photobucket and post the IMG code here to share. There are specific directions around here somewhere.
  10. It's on my list, but I haven't seen it yet. I also haven't seen the musical. I've heard Once Upon a Time fans will be disappointed. (and I am one)
  11. Well, it’s time for another GDF trip report. This trip started small and ended up much bigger. Originally, I thought Z and I might drive down for a few days before Christmas to see some Disney lights and such (you know, since I accidentally bought those APs). Mr. GDF agreed but then seemed a little sad we’d be going out of town without him. I reminded him that his work was pretty slow this time of year; he thought about it and decided that if we could get into the Fort, he’d go. But this was a last minute trip, and the Fort was booked. I booked a room at the POP and put his name on it just i
  12. The picnic tables are bigger. The sites are wider... there is none of the sand pad. They are also in a more desirable part of the campground. I've never stayed in a full before, but it seems from memory that some a a good ways from the bus stops if you don't have a cart, and your sister has mobility issues.
  13. If you're worried about size, I'd get a premium. You're sure to have plenty of room.
  14. When is your trip? Are you OK eating there for lunch vs. dinner? The food is delivered to your table on real plates and is quite good.
