I Need a Fort Fix
daddyphat808 - Eric replied to Discamper's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Longer for a few months for me. Hell I went to the camper the other day let out the awning wearing a Fort t-shirt. sat in a chair outside and tried to bribe my wife to drive up and down the street in our mini van making Disney bus noises. all while the kids played around the camper. she thought I had lost it so now I am teaching the cat to drive her van! I may even write Disney on the side of the van to make it even more real! -
Thanks for the compliments! The floor took a week or so. We are very lucky my father lives with us and is a master woodworker. Doing it most of his life and we have a full carpentry shop behind our house. So most times I mat just say man we could us a shelf here and a couple of days later it appears. There is so much more I want to do. And I really need to tackle the bunk door seals and replace the front door. But first I need to get back to the Fort!!!

The floor felt a little soft for me so we pulled the vinyl and sheeted it with 1/4 plywood. This let us check the floor for any leaks. We found a small one in the back corner closet. And also give a little more strength. With the flooring and the 1/4 ply it added almost 1/2 an inch and a sturdier feel. Next up is sh

We have a 2005 23B and love it! t5he only issue we have had and we bought it used was a roof leak at the very rear near the shower area which was from the caulking had separated and caused a little floor issue in the very left corner. Easy fix we repaired the roof and used the epoxy glue stuff to reseal the floor and covered the area with some 1/4" plywood. The area was inside the left rear cabinet. The biggest issue though is the front bunk door has had water leaking in it causing the door to go soft. We have placed a 3/4" plywood attached to the frame to reinforce the door until I have
