WOW caught up again...sure miss a lot when don't get on-line for a few days. I think the bird in question is a red shouldered hawk. They are very common in the area. Love to hear them calling. Went back to take another look at both birds. The 1st photo could be a young hawk of either type, I guess. The photo of the short tailed hawk has a very bright yellow breast, maybe an adult?

Caught up again...brrr 33..note to self... remember warm layers, more than I think I'll need! Love this trip!

Holy cow..if I don't start reading a TCD trip report when he starts writing it, I get so far behind...all the way up to page #13 now, where the discussion is about the ugly building that will be rearing it's ugly head over our beautiful camp ground. When Eisner and the yes men were in Epcot looking at France, the question was, will the Swan and Dolphin have an effect on the scene with the Eiffil Tower. Oh thank goodness, I've made it to your TR before the ship left port! I can swim but ohmy not that far. Enjoyed everything so far, ALL your girls are so cute..what a Dad/hubby to plan a surprised so large and keep it secret so long...kuddos to you!

I've heard the double rainbows called 'sun dogs'. Have no idea why. But they are pretty. Love the family pic in the Mickey ears. Boys look happy. Seems to me pool hopping should be OK if you are a registered guest at any of the hotels/Fort.
