  1. Lots of cash Lou The day of rides sounds like a lot of fun to me. And would have loved doing it about 30 years ago :rofl3:
  2. Yes! Courtesy, kindness and respect on both sides would make a happier experience for all. I try to not let strollers be behind me, ankles have been bumped too many times!! A problem I've encountered is when stepping aside or stopping for another person to be able to move and making the impatient people behind me mad with me. But the stream of people was just moving on and not helping a fellow human being. So take this selfish people... :raspberry:
  3. As I fell asleep last night I thought of another thing you need, but seeing the time of your last post ....guess you didn't 'get' it .....A good night's rest! Safe and blessed travels to you and your family as y'all head south!! Looking forward to seeing you.
  4. I click edit on the second post and then click cancel, seems to work.
  5. I really don't know. I left working for WDW as Epcot was being built and know the bakery had added some ovens to be able to bake for Epcot. Maybe the countries do their own baking, if I remember correctly, a lot of work was farmed out during the reign of Eisner. It's a good question TCD, who bakes and preps for all the food places in AK, MK, Epcot and HS, plus all the Disney hotels and the cast eating spots also?
  6. AHA! Up to page 41 and post #815 which starts another section of this epic TR. Wanted to tell you about my experiences as a CM back in the late 70s. I worked in the Central Food Facility Bakery. It was located in the Central Food Facility building which is across the street from the 'round' house. The building is still there but is being used as a storage area for Christmas decorations, at least that is what I've been told. We made turnovers, cherry and apple, for the MK. ( That was the only park at that time.) Also pies, cakes, breads and rolls, cookies lots of other stuff too for MK a
  7. Can't wait till I can say :wave1: Marty and kiddos :jumpforjoy
  8. Pineapples at Publix this week are $4.99, a couple weeks ago were only $2.99.
  9. If WDW/Reedy Creek rescue had to help the campers, they would not have used lights or sirens if at all possible. So something could have happened during the night and was quietly taken care of. Not saying it happened but, if it did, other campers might not have been disturbed at all.
  10. Housekeepers/maids ( mousekeepers) even though they don't clean the RVs I bet they or some of the people who work around the camp property can be sweet talked into answering questions. A cruise I was on early this year all of a sudden had a door with do not enter signs on it. Oh boy did we have fun with figuring that out. None of our ideas were close. Turns out someone did die in there of natural causes. How we found out the truth was, by just talking and being friendly with some of the cabin stewards (the guys that cleaned the cabins) and one of them told us. It was sad because it was
  11. I was thinking the same thing. Bet CMs aren't too happy to have the too young ones in there unsupervised.
  12. Thanks Jason. Wonder if there is a bed under the top that lifts up? Looks like the top is down in this photo. I went looking and found these listed for sale on ebay. Lots of brochures and some toys. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=bedford%20dormobile&clk_rvr_id=699378744524&adpos=1t2&MT_ID=70&crlp=36440425741_2416792&device=c&geo_id=10232&keyword=bedford+dormobile&crdt=0
  13. Someone will be along soon to answer your questions...but in the mean time .... :wave1: :welcome2: :wave1:
  14. Lucky and Lacey will help you carry the stuff to your car, if the rest of your cookie stash is in that car.
  15. I'm up to page 30, get a few pages read every day. Your TRs are so full of info and fun even if they are months (or years ) old still worth the reading. My godson and his girlfriend were at the 24 hour MK party. Didn't see him in any of your photos but sent the TR on to him, maybe he can see himself. Think he was dressed as Baloo (sp). Wondering if the 40% cast discount at TE breakfast is still in effect. Reading a TR after it's finished is like 'finding' the Harry Potter books and being able to read them all straight through. Not having the anticipation of waiting for the next book or
