  1. Kristie for the win! Very cute. Happy Birthday Snarky and many, many more!!
  2. Even tho I can't enter (retired WDW DH) I'm giving you hopeful fiends a.............. :bump2: ....good luck hope a bunch of fiends win!!
  3. Well, there is an Ikea next to The Millenia Mall. Before it was built here the DH and I scheduled a day at the Springfield, Va Ikea during our vacations to the D.C. area. Of course, we weren't staying at the fort.
  4. Space Mountain was still new when I started working there. I remember standing in line for 45 minutes and then the ride was over so fast. At one point on the ride your body lifted off the seat...I thought 'that's cool'...but I heard some people hurt their backs, so that bump was 'fixed'...boo
  5. Yes, it was cool and cloudy and misty/rainy at the fort but the SUN is shining at this moment!! :)
  6. What I remember of this movie is I mostly liked it. DH saw it in a theater without me because the previews didn't make me want to go see it. When I finally saw it, not in 3-D, I did enjoy it. But then I wish Anne McCaffrey's Dragon Riders of Pern would be made into a series of movies. I don't get that either. Hoping for the best!
  7. Dogs are allowed in park on a leash! This sure looks like a knock off of WDW and if it was in the USA I bet Disney wouldn't have let it be built. But it looks like fun and I would enjoy going. However, the honeymoon cabin is good for 1-4 people. Seems to me anything less than 2 or more than 2 is defeating the honeymoon.
  8. Is this site for real? I've never heard of this place, not that that means anything. Their ball appears not to be a total sphere as Epcot's is. The below was on the first page of their site. =========================================================================================================================================== These pages are in no way affiliated with nor endorsed by Busch Entertainment, Cedar Fair, Legoland, Paramount Parks, Tussaud's Group, Six Flags, Universal Studios, the Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney World, or any other theme park or roller coaster company. 9. I like watching the parades from there, smaller crowds and good views.
  10. OK this is first TR I've finished reading since being absent for all of December with other obligations. Loved the bonus content and the photos from the air. Never heard of the Mickey Forest before, it's cool. Thanks for taking your time to do this TR. Good job!
  11. My DH is not interested either, but I saw the play with my godson in it, years ago and as a professional play in Orlando. I enjoyed both and hope to do the same with the movie.
  12. What a neat idea! Looks easy enough to do too. Certainly more cost effective.
  13. I was in Sea World New Years Eve and tho the parking lot was full it didn't seem so crowded in the park. I was surprised about that. I mainly walked around to see the decorations and did not stay for fireworks. Too achy these days Probably at midnight it was crowded in the viewing areas. One nice thing about the parking, an employee was directing cars down lanes that had slots available, that was helpful.
  14. I remember those. Fun to look at all the lights thru them. They were available at least the first two years and were free! Seems one year was the angels and something different the other year. Remember sending a pair to my WV friends who had no ambient light at night and could see so many stars. Now that was neat. Was a big disappointment to me when they were no longer available.
  15. Sorry to hear about the big booboo on your rig. Hope the rest of your vacation is wonderful!
