Gas prices
fladogfan aka Gretchen replied to swimmarz's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
You remember the Mobil station near the I-4 and 535 intersection? The one who has had prices up over $5.00 at times? Well, they lowered their price all the way down to $2.89. They did stay at $2.99 for a while. Everyone else in and around Disney is close to $2.00 plus or minus. -

Wondering how easy/hard it will be for the adults trying to keep track of their groups of kids with this system. -
Wow beautiful cats. Wonder if Vali will end up a bigger cat than Rascal. Love the interaction of the dog and cat. Too cute. It is amazing what can happen after the death of a loved one, human or 4-footer, we just need to be aware.

bhall, sorry about the loss of Wrigley and Belle. Very lucky pets to have lived with loving humans.

Usually the gulf is warmer than the Atlantic side and can be pleasant to swim in if the air temps are a wee bit cooler. -
Halloween at the Fort
fladogfan aka Gretchen replied to TeamEnglish's topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
If you do need to check out the 31st, take your camper to the overflow lot early. If it is anything like last year when, DH and I came out Halloween afternoon, the lot was crammed full to overflowing. Cars and campers were parked on the grass outside the lot even. And we were instructed to park at Port Orleans. Though DH 'found' a spot next to others parked on a piece of grass. And welcome to fortfiends!! -
A salesman at an RV place told DH and me about a big, expensive motor home stolen from their lot. BUT! it had GPS in it and they were able to locate it using that. I think it was a GPS, anyway something to be able to track it. It had made it all the way to the Chicago area. The thief claimed one of the salesmen had made an 'under the table' deal with him. Surprise, no one believed him.

You are certainly welcome Marty, I enjoyed reading it and makes me want to go to those places too. BTW TCD, could you please explain the hot dogs again? Was it one long dog or two small? What else was in it besides the cheese. DH liked the idea of cheese on a dog. He loves his dogs, when we go to PA to visit his relatives the first, very first, place we go is his favorite local hot dog shop. Pete's Hot Dogs! -

That's what I would have done too, except, probably used a clothes pin to close the bag. But here comes TCD with the info straight from Reynolds. Guess I'll go with that. "I've had the liners stick to the crock pot and tear. They aren't very thick." That would be a pain, after all the bag is suppose to keep the crock pot from getting messy. I'm wondering now if using a spoon or ladle to serve the food could tear the bag? -

Finished! Finally! Kept getting waylaid by life but always had this to come back to and now it's finished. A few thoughts, you make me want to visit Dublin and London. The train to DLP sounds like fun. The castle in DLP is beautiful. From your photos it looks prettier than MK's castle. But of course not seeing it in person makes a difference. The dragon under the castle...perfect! Cool you got a reply from the camplessground management.. sure hope you are able to use the free stuff. At least they gave you some time to do so. My DH is a hot dog lover, told him about your Paris hot
