  1. Maybe she's ticked about her Castle's takeover last Christmas.
  2. Glad to see they don't stop traffic until 11am most MK visitors should have headed out to the park by then.
  3. Nice you enjoyed a good time at the fort and parks.
  4. I have a toaster and a coffee maker, no name kind, got them a few years ago on a Black Friday at Wally-World. $5.00 each and they work fine for camping. Store them in their original boxes while traveling.
  5. :rofl2: BRAT :rofl2: I had forgotten about that, old age has it's advantages Another good thing about the 4-wheeler is walking from the parking lot is a whole lot easier. That day the tram wasn't in sight and there were too many pushy people for me to deal with, so we walked! Got to the guards just as the tram was un-loading. Did use the tram to get back to car. Good deal Travis. Too bad your Mom didn't like it. We had a similar problem. DH's aunt lived with us for a few years and used the old style walker. One Christmas Santa gave her a 4-wheeler, she walked it from the li
  6. I wonder why the weird colors on the couches? They don't have a rustic look to them at all. I would put leather on the couches. More expensive, I realize, but would hold up much longer. I did see a table/foot rest bench in one of the pics, so they do/did use leather once.
  7. Wonder if Jason could work a trade with someone in a smaller site that would really rather be in a premium site? I'd contact him.
  8. We got a 4-wheel walker from Wally World and I know Costco has them too. WW one was about $90 and Costco needs to be ordered. They use to have them in their stores but last time I checked, it was available on-line. They were around $100. DH and I are heading to F&W today and I plan to take mine. What is good about it, besides being able to sit, is the basket under the seat where all kinds of stuff can be stored. Yes the security will need to look in that.
  9. Today is a delight!!! 68 when at a local park for a tai chi lesson. Sooooooo wonderful...I love it!!! LOL Mo, about the socks and flips. Use to do that in VA. I have to stay away from flips now, fell too many times while wearing them.
  10. No AC noise makes me happy too. Like the rain on the tent ends. Lightning can stay away.
  11. The only way I can afford to go to WDW is to be a cast member or the spouse of one (retired tho he is now). I'm too frugal aka cheap to spend that kind of money.
  12. Y'all don't want to hear this, but we have windows open and NO ac running, first time since last winter, so nice
  13. The only things I know about convection ovens are, they cook faster and I need to lower the temperature when I use the one at church for baking bread. It browned the bread too fast before it had really finished baking. Went from 375 to 325. Never used a convection/micro wave oven before. It looks smaller than a regular oven but probably will be OK, maybe not to roast a turkey :) Do the cabins come with a slow cooker/crock pot? That would be handy.
