  1. Nice looking family enjoying your TR. Yes, it's been cold here. Well, cold to Floridian standards. btw, I love the cold weather. Going to warm this weekend and it's super sunny out right now. Looking forward to more of your trip. PUG (pop up gizmos) are worth every cent. We first used them in NH in October a few years ago. Didn't have them on the first night and the insides of the tent ends (we have a hybrid) were dripping the next morning. Put the PUGs on and no more problems. So they are good for hot and cold weather.
  2. Welcome Bhanback! I've always wanted to go to see the ponies, maybe some day soon.
  3. Ya think the bakery smells like the no-longer available cinnamon rolls?
  4. Only place I can think of along that path is at the beginning, the pizza restaurant.
  5. Saw my first add for GWL on television today. I think it was USA network.
  6. Finished! What a wonderful trip report, thanks for taking your time to write it for us. Bet Kassie and you love the cuddle time and if it helps, all the better.
  7. Gwen, HA! I'm on page 6 (I think) and just read this. Thanks for remembering me. It's a pretty little piece of china. I hope some day you find more info about it. I can't make out the stamp either, even using a magnifying glass. Maybe send what you know about it to Antiques Roadshow. The vet you took Kassie to is where I worked as a kennel attendant back in the 80s. There were 3 vets when I was there, Dr. Leland Simmons was the owner, he is now retired but helps out on occasion, Dr. Susan Anderson and Dr. L.....something. I loved how they picked each other brains if they
  8. Marty, I'm one of the cheap people when it comes to eating out so we seldom eat at WDW. However if you want a good steak I recommend Outback. You probably have them in your area too so might not be special enough. There are two close to property, one near where Dolly Pardon's thing was and another out the back gate for AK. As for how you would get there, I can drive!!
  9. One of DH's former co-worker told of having to train the imported expert. Talk about salt in an open wound.
  10. Like going off property to buy someone else's work (their product might work OK for them but Disney is way different) and then the IT cast has to re-write the whole thing to fit WDW's needs. Don't know if this still happens but it use to be normal.
  11. One of which is turning out to be today. Sunny but chilly! Mo, cool design! Thanks y'all.
  12. Gwen, thank you for writing this trip report. I'm all the way up to page three but wanted to say thanks. Your TPs are so full of photos that they are lots of fun to read. I feel bad I never got to the fort while so many fiends were there, but problems and life get in the way sometimes. OK, back to pg3.
  13. OK. Sometimes I land in the midst of a thread and not having a number I have no idea which page I'm on. Haven't checked this, do we still get 20 posts per page? OK so I checked and your last post is 21 so let's see where my new post lands. When the Yukon Quest and Iditarod and then the red tale hawk's nest at Cornell start I'll be having 4-6 tabs open. Priorities Edit to say: This is now post #22 and still on first page. Woo hoo lots more fiends will get first page bragging rights on trip reports!
  14. I rode that ferris wheel and wished I had thought to take a motion sickness pill or two. Vertigo and that ride are interesting. I would ride it again if I ever get the chance!! It was fun :)
  15. Thanks Jason, But that is not a problem for me, I don't do the share thing. Is that share to facebook? I just like to know the # of the post where I am on the thread and if I need to leave the page I know which post to go back to. Did that make any sense? I did figure out the quote and multi-quote thing
