Hi Folks, I have finished the new Main Street Trolley book! It covers the why's behind Main Street, horsecars in early America, detail on the Disney horses and their care, riding the horsecar, and the engineering behind it all. This is Part 2 in the series. Part 1 covered the Fort Wilderness Railroad. Since the horses on Main Street (or anywhere else on the property) live at the Fort, I have a lot of coverage on the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. Hi Folks, As part of the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society's annual meeting, a brief tour of key spots on the old railroad will be held Sunday, Sept 30th. It will begin at 9:00am at the Trails End Restaurant and last about 2 hours. If you are at the Fort on the 30th and would like to attend, please join us! Also, as part of the annual meeting, the Disney Railroads Train Show will be held at the Wilderness Lodge Vacation Club's Carolwood Pacific Room on Saturday, the 29th, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Hi Cbyerley, Have fun finding the old track. The map above should give you a good run at it. As you walk along the sidewalks, look for the old track rock ballast on either side. That's a good giveaway! David -

I can't think of nicer place to have your morning coffee..and glad you and your family are enjoying the car.... A fun item for you...the picture below is of Suzi Schneider Ward standing on the car's platform last year. If you will look at the cover of the main book, that's "the same picture" of Suzi, except some years ago now (different car!). How bout that for a Then n Now!
