  1. On our way back from the party on Friday night, I had the idea to ask at the concierge desk if it might be possible to switch the two unused tickets to Tuesday night so that Vaughn and Wil wouldn't miss out totally. So when we got back to the room, I told Vaughn about it and he raced on down to Old Port Royale. They weren't able to do anything from there, but suggested that we try guest services. So we figured we would try the next morning at EPCOT. Saturday morning brought good news...Wil was feeling much better. So we were up and at 'em again. On to EPCOT for the World Showcase. When we go
  2. So we're up to Friday of our first week in Disney. Today was the day we had tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We also had reservations for dinner in the Castle at 5:25. So we decided to use the Water Parks part of our passes and headed here... Vaughn and I had been here on our Honeymoon, but the kids had never been to either water park. And we LOVE water parks. Our favorite ride was the Teamboat Springs ride that all four of us ride down in one raft. We were having a great time. And then it happened. Wil said his stomach was bothering him. I figured he might just be hun
  3. Oh. Well, we wouldn't have gone in if you hadn't mentioned something, so you still get your mad props. My kids were thrilled to meet Frozone and Mr. Incredible. Yep...there was about to be a smack down in the middle of Chef Mickey. :argh: RnRC is definitely a drawer soiler...but it was really fun after that first bit.
  4. Were you right? We seriously would never had stopped in there if I hadn't seen it in one of your reports. See...FF.net is educational too!
  5. During the day I had been trying to convince Wil to go on Rock n Roller Coaster with me. I know, I'm a big puss when it comes to alot of these rides, but I do ride them. And this was one that we had never ridden. When Vaughn and I were in Disney on our honeymoon in 1999, it had just opened and the lines were insane so we had skipped it. Then in 2008, both kids were too little so we skipped it. Well, I was bound and determined to ride this time. But Ali was still too small, so Vaughn and I each needed Wil to ride it with us. Somewhere along the way, Wil decided he didn't want to go on any rides
  6. Onward Disney Soldiers... I had finished my starring role in the Indiana Stunt Spectacular and headed here Don't let the faces fool you. Those kids LOVE thrill rides. All of them. This was to be yet another first for Ali. And another ride I curse myself for riding while I'm waiting in line. I have fun on these rides, don't get me wrong, but the anticipation kills me. Here's our ride photo: This one cracks me up. We're in the back row...all of us screaming. Except Ali who looks to be having the time of her life. But check out some of the other people in the car with us. Like the older lady
  7. Glad I'm not the only one! Yes, I'm all legal now. :rofl2:
  8. When I saw you post somewhere that you had been away for the weekend, I was hoping it was for a Fort trip. Glad to see I was right! As for the chick in the striped underpants...am I the only one that notices that, besides being oddly inappropriate, her shirt doesn't even match the undies? Maybe she forgot to put her pants on. The world will never know.
  9. I also would have no problem telling another kid to knock it off and would welcome the chance to explain to his parents why I did so if they decided it was in their best interest to question me. But I'm still laughing at the Chinese children "saying happy things in Chinese". What a great update.
  10. What a beautiful campsite!! I'm jealous right now. But glad you and the gals are having a nice time.
  11. We're ready for our close ups!! We love Hollywood Studios. (And yes, I still slip sometimes and call it MGM). We got to Hollywood Studios bright and early. Not quite rope drop, but close enough. We, of course, headed straight to Toy Story Mania. The last time we were here, we had the Make a Wish button and were whisked thru TSM. I had read so many horror stories about the line and fastpasses being gone first thing in the morning. When we got there, the stand by line said 25 minutes so we got in line. So far during our trip the signs had been wrong and our waits had been far shorter than th
  12. LOVE the promo sign for FF.net!! We are loads of fun, aren't we? Yes. Yes we are.
  13. It's a lot of fun to look back and see how they've changed. Also a little sad. As long as I get to come along, he's all yours! :rofl3:
  14. I have no idea how I posted that picture of me and the kids twice. Oh well. Here's a few final pictures of Beach Club. Doing their best impression of the Phineas and Ferb topiary. We strolled around without any major purpose at this point. It was only about 8:30 and the park was open until midnight, but the kids were already slowing down. We made a stop in Club Cool so I could get them to try Beverly. Do not let this picture fool you. Ali did NOT actually drink the drink. She pretended to take a sip, while watching Wil drink it and then when she saw his reaction, she acted like she tasted
  15. So here we are in front of The Seas with Nemo and Friends (which I still call the Living Seas) and we are up to my favorite (and I think final) recreation photo. 2008 2012 We stood the for what felt like forever waiting for those stupid birds to start screaming "MINE". And of course, the kids were swallowed whole by Bruce. We checked out Journey into Imagination. At the end, we played around on the computers and tried to make our own Figments. Wil's was emailed to us, however, Ali and I picked a computer that was in another language. I thought I'd be able to fake my way thru it, but we ne
  16. Hahaha...glad to have you on board Dave! I will admit, we did try to find DeVine, but never did. I've never actually seen her in person.
  17. HAHA! Let me tell you...those bars were a tight squeeze for me! I think the castmember offered to take our picture just to see if I could smoosh my fat behind in there. But we got the picture, so it was worth it.
  18. Thanks guys! I admit - a lot of these pictures are taken by my husband....and he's got an advantage. He's a photographer. I try to take my fair share (the one of Ali at the table is me, but the one of Ali on the slide is Vaughn's handiwork.) The camera is a Cannon, but I'm not sure what kind.
  19. We're up to the first Wednesday of our trip and today we planned to hit EPCOT. EPCOT was open until midnight for EMH so we decided to sleep a little later and swim before getting ready to head over. Couple of shots of the kids on one of the pool slides. We got to EPCOT around 1-ish. I'm going to take a minute here and point out something that everyone has surely noticed by now...I'm one of "those people" that forces my family to wear matching shirts to Disney. There was a great deal of moaning about this before hand (mostly from Wil and Vaughn) so I only made 4 sets of shirts and only actu
  20. We are big animal lovers and we hadn't had a chance to do Conservation Station on our last trip. The kids got to pet a pig, so they were happy. It was! Caribbean Beach has a great pool. It's huge and has two slides. Aw..shucks! Thank you ma'am. :heartsmiley: Thanks!! I wasn't going to buy that swim cap, but Ali loved it at the store. She really does love to wear it. Why thank you! The kids think it's hysterical when I get all freaked out on a ride and they don't. The pictures are a highlight for them.
  21. We headed out. I am anti-poncho for myself, but pro-poncho for my kiddos. I happened to have three ponchos in my backpack that my son had gotten thru boy scouts. I gave one to Vaughn since he had the camera backpack and put one on each kid and out we went into Armageddon. It was crazy! We walked along and finally found a little overhang to stand under until it cleared up a bit. And it did clear. We ate lunch at Flame Tree BBQ which was yummy. The kids had fun watching all the white birds wander around and the ducks play in the puddles. We hit Tough to be a Bug before heading back to the Carib
  22. On with the show... We wandered around AK. Went to see the tigers and gorillas. Here's my Merida hair. Peek-a-boo Eventually we hopped on board the train to Conservation Station. Wil got to pet a snake. Ali and I stayed as far away as possible. Then we met Rafiki. While we were in line, Vaughn got to talking to the castmember with Rafiki and told him about our last trip with Make-a-Wish and how much better Ali is doing now. When we were finished with Rafiki, the castmember called Ali over and gave her a special Tinkerbell pin. It was very sweet! We checked out the Affection Section.
