  1. Perfect Lisa, I forgot what size the American Dolls were. I'm lucky not to have them YET!. I applaud thee! :rofl2:
  2. We go to Knoebels every year as well. Another routine trip is Gettysburg, we stay at the KOA out there and we also did Lancaster http://www.bird-in-hand.com/index.php/places_to_stay/stay_overview/country_acres_campground/ last year. New York, we went to Watkins Glen/Corning area and stayed at Camp Bell Campground, campbellcampground.com. There is also Watkins Glen State Park which is really nice. Anywhere up in that area is nice. My DD's (2&4) have fun wherever they are, so it's easy to please. Best Regards, Norm
  3. I am not sure if any of the campgrounds in the Wildwood/Cape May area are that good. We did stay at Sea Shell last year but wasn't too impresses. We are going to try this place this year since it's in our home state. http://www.lakekandle.com/ They mean Wildwood, FL, not NJ, and Lake Kandle is ok, but it is a swim club for the township and gets very busy in the summer. Also isn't near the shore, about 45 minutes to 1 hour drive to certain beaches. I live in NJ as well, but camp out of state. Personally, most of the campgrounds in NJ cater more to the seasonal crowd and turn me off. Haven't be
  4. I use restaurant.com all the time. A lot of the places I go to are on there and when we travel, I try to find a place where we could stop while in route to save money. Best Regards, Norm
  5. Yes, it is. We had Disneyland Fun on VHS and they were playing it over and over, so I got them the DVD and while I was on Amazon, I found the camping one. They love the Sing Along Song series. Best Regards, Norm
  6. Every time I read this, I just laugh. Who in their right mind would park in someone else's spot all day and think nothing of it. This has nothing to do with camping etiquette, this has to do with everyday life! It has to make you wonder who is walking around in this world. Best Regards, Norm
  7. Not a TV show, but I got this for my girls a couple years ago, and they watch it almost every day. Sing Along Songs - Campout at Walt Disney World Best Regards, Norm
  8. I read this somewhere else, but did you try here. Steve Senesi at Golf and Electric Vehicles (407-947-2013). He does not require a deposit when you make you reservation, but he does not take credit cards. You must pay with cash or check. He drives the cart to your cabin/site and picks it up the same way. Best Regards, Norm
  9. Thanks whipperwhirl. We have a tower fan as well. easy to pack, stands in the corner and safe for the kids. Best Regards, Norm
  10. Just 2 personal DVD players. We tried one, but they started fighting over what movie to watch, so Granny got them each one for Christmas. Oh, and they are only for bedtime and if we get stuck in the rain. Best Regards, Norm
  11. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old DD's and we started tent camping with them this past summer. The best thing we did buy was a poratble DVD player for them for bedtime to help them unwind and relax. We now have 2 since they were fighting over which movie to watch. They end up going to sleep soon after the movie starts. They have their own double air matress and the youngest sleeps closest to me. We also have a potty for middle of the night emergencys. Other than that, we have coloring books and a couple small games that are easy to pack to occupy them when needed. Here's a picture of them e
  12. Yea, I have a 5x8 now that I've had for years for my dirt bikes and when I went down to Daytona for bike week. I'm definitely getting something with at least 12" wheels and good ply tires. I know a lot of the Harbor Freight deals are like that. I do keep my bearings well lubed and I'm a stickler for maintenance. Best Regards, Norm
  13. Hey everyone, I have 1 question about the Fort and a picture request. First question is we will be going on our first trip, November 6th-11th, and wanted to know what the decorations were like at the campground. Are people decorating their sites for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or both? Second request is, since we are tenters, we have a lot of stuff and usually I have a hitch basket to carry our stuff, but we will have a little more and going a longer distance, and to make things more comfortable for the ride, I was planning of getting a smaller trailer e.g. 4x6 and making a luggage trailer, and
