We've had luck on a few occasions getting that. Just last year we had that predicament and it worked out for us. Turns out there was a large group of campers (locals) scheduled to come into the 1700 loop, but because the weather was too chilly, they all cancelled.

We bought this for our 2017 trip with a big family group. I haven't used it yet, but I can say that it is definitely the biggest crockpot I have. The graphics are super cute, too!
