So I just changed my reservation from cabin to tent/pop up campsite. I know there are only 2 loops for this class of site. When and how would I go about requesting loop 1500? I'm thinking I like it's location and smaller size over 2000. Thanks!

I did it! I changed it online-got our partial hookup site, and we just got our new to us pop up yesterday!

So, we have reservations in August for a Cabin in Fort Wilderness. Due to financial constraints, as well as buying an inexpensive second hand pop up, we want to change the reservation to a partial hook up campsite. I called today, but there are currently NO campsites of any type available for our planned dates at WDW. I was told to check back, because people do cancel sometimes. In reality, how likely are we to be able to change our reservation? And, when I called a few days ago to check on the cost difference, I was told that when I was ready to change the reservation I'd have to call, could

Thanks for the input! 1500 looks pretty close to the Meadow swimming pool and trading post-I'd probably try for that loop. We need to cut corners, costwise, and I'd rather take a smaller site than cut off a couple days in length.

Ok, readers digest version-we went to FW/cabins for our first Disney trip in 2012. Loved it, and booked the cabins again for this August, for our 20th anniversary. Hubby has been laid off a bit this year, and I'm really sweating whether we'll be able to get the trip paid off in time. I just spoke with a cast member to get an idea how much we'd save booking a campsite instead. (We are buying a nice used PUP this month from church friends.) Anyone know where the pop up/tent sites are located? We have 4 kids, 17, 15, 13, and 5. I'd love to be close to a comfort station, and dare I say it, a pool
