  1. Very nice! It's always so sad to get rid of a camper even when you're upgrading to a nicer one. I remember when we got rid of our PUP when I was growing up. We were upgrading to a TT, but it was still sad to see the PUP go. Just think of all the memories that you'll make in the new one! :rofl2:
  2. We were there the week before Easter back in '06. I think that they had a big Easter egg hunt scheduled, but other than that, I don't remember anything. I know that it is supposed to be really crowded, but I don't remember it being extra crowded. Maybe it was and I just wasn't paying attention since the trip before that was for the 4th of July?
  3. I thought that you meant that you vacuumed the site prior to setting up. LOL Yes, I totally get where you're coming from. I can't stand dirt, and the crushed shells at the Fort are even worse!
  4. Our trips average out to about 1 trip every two years.
  5. That's awesome! I had a dream the other night, but I dreamt that Chris and Jen banned me. :-\
  6. Welcome! >:D It's the only reason that they keep me around here.
  7. We usually do not do the dining plan. When we go in December 2012 (Lord willing), we'll be getting the DDP. We plan on several character dinners, CRT, and HDDMR. We'll be much better off by getting the DDP. Under normal circumstances, we wouldn't. I agree that it completely depends on where you plan on eating.
  8. I had some grilled chicken and veggie rice for an early dinner, but the baby is saying that I need to eat again. Grilled cheese and tomato soup sounds good...
  9. My friend is married to a very picky eater. When they were in WDW in October, they ate at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. She said that he really liked it, but it is on the expensive side. Here's a menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_ys.htm I can ask her what other restaurants that he enjoyed, if you want. Whispering Canyon might be a good choice if you want something more relaxed than the Yachtsman.
  10. Is Robert6401 the poster who is in the military from South Carolina? He had a pic of his rig in his signature. I'm having a hard time telling who is who when everyone is naked!
  11. The answer to all of these questions is: "Who cares?" -or- "Yes" -or- "Maybe" Take your pick That post is either sarcastic or argumentative. Take your pick.
  12. How much does it cost to ride the train? Will it drop us off at River Country? We decided to take DD to River Country on our next trip. I know that she'll love it! River Country is closed, Dear. You'll have to go to Typhone Logone Aw! Well, the train take me to Typhone Logone?

  14. 2 THUMBS UP (we need more smilies LOL) No intentions at all of going back... strongly resisting the urge to correct all the MISinformation already being posted. <sigh> Which btw, I noted in my message to the admin addy. Their response was ridiculous btw. If anyone cares, I can post both, but otherwise I won't bore you with it. It is rather boring over there. I'm kinda curious as to what lame response they gave you.
  15. That's all 12 pages of recipes from the Camping Board. :D
  16. Crockpot Lasagna I don't know if this is already posted, but kids really enjoy it. And like it very cheesy....DH and older boys like it meaty. Favorite Spagetti Sauce (I like Prego) Lasagna Noodles Rigotta Cheese (I usually get the big size and use about 3/4 to just about all) Bagged Shredded Mozarella (Or Italian Blend) I usually get two 2 cup bags and use 1/2 the second bag as the topping Grated Parm Pour enough sauce in the bottom of the crockpot to coat. Break up Lasagna noodles to fit and cover bottom of crockpot in 1 layer. Mix together rigotta, mozarella and a hand full or so of parm ch

  18. My most simple Vietnamese recipe is for chicken congee (rice porridge). Take one or two cooked pieces of chicken breast and shred in the bottom of a crock pot. Add six cups of chicken broth and two cups of uncooked rice. Add salt, pepper, and diced green onions to taste. You can add sliced bamboo shoots if you like. Turn crock pot on low in the morning. It's ready that evening for supper. Just stir and serve. One treat we had growing up was to roast calamari jerky over an open fire. Once it's toasted, just eat it plain. Another simple treat was toasting rice paper over an open fire. Take a she
