Nice save Ray! Just don't look him directly in the eye!

That is how all the "rock stars" travel… The roadies drive down, set everything up to get ready for the show and then the stars fly in and just enjoy themselves... I hope you guys have an awesome time!

Hey Gwen, Dee-Wayne checking in and will be along for the ride. It was really good to see you again, and to finally meet David. I hate we didn't catch each other while we were there. Also sorry that I couldn't help you guys get your propane or water issues solved. But, hey, who needs water or flame, you were at one of the best places around! I will always remember this spot… Several years ago when we had our 5th wheel, we had a tire blow out on the way to the Fort at this very spot. The biting flys and mosquitoes just about carried me away while I tried to change the tire. Don

Kelly, Because I am such a nice person (don't believe me, just ask me and I will tell you) and due to the fact that I want to be like Dave when I grow up, I will make you this offer... I will drive down my motorhome from the Raleigh area to the Fort... you just pay for gas there and back, for the site to park it on and I won't charge you anything for its use. It comes complete with a comfy king size bed, full bath, kitchen, and living room... All I ask is that you put me up in the Contemporary or the Wilderness Lodge during your stay... How's that for a deal?!

This guy will do well as an architect or some sort of designer because "he gets it"... He actually thinks about how something he designs will be used in practicality. We all as campers see where some of the designers today have totally lost their minds somewhere along the way. How many times have you sat in your camper, or tried to use a feature that looked good in a sales brochure, but had no useful or practical purpose once you bought it. I have often said that the folks designing things, and I don't care what it is either, have never had to use or work on anything they have designed... -
An EGG-cellent Weekend at Stone Mountain
Duane replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Trip Reports
Kelly, The other day after I dropped the girls off at the airport, I went to Camping World in Kissimmee and saw this.... http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/kamado-kub-ceramic-charcoal-grill/71946 This looks to be a knockoff of the BGE... Have you guys ever heard of or seen one of these in action? -
We had a dinner reservation there last week as well as a lunch fast pass... Did the dinner, but passed up the lunch for some other frivalous activity I'm sure... I ordered the braised pork, Claudine had the steak, and Ashleigh ordered the salmon... The steak and pork came out perfect... according to Ash, the salmon tasted fishy, and guess who had to trade inorder to make the princess happy? Well at least I got at least one bite of the pork. We had awesome seats over by the snowy windows looking back across to the entrance. The designers did a great job of coming up with the theming...

I hope they don't hang it up underneath the water bridge like they did the Safari truck the other day....

Heck Andrew, you can even bring your home dishwasher too can't you? Didn't you give someone a long time ago the TCDRMOG Award for that very thing?

Do moderate resorts have the H2O toiletries?
Duane replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Resorts Board
Kelly, I have a handfull of that minty smelling H2O stuff that I swiped from Aulani here in the camper with me... If you tell me which resort you will be staying, I will put them in a ziploc bag and stash them by the light pole by the guard shack.... -

On behalf of Lou and his inability to add anything useful.... "If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat!" -

One of the things that I did early on when we bought our RV was to replace the throne... Winnie put a foot flush, plastic Dometic model that was really cheap and just was not comfortable... I replaced it with a Sealand china model with a foot flush and hand sprayer. Not sure about some of the other models listed, but the one we have is able to use a standard seat from any Lowes or Home Depot instead of the plastic seat that typically comes with the unit from the factory... -
