Today we are heading into Bowling Green. This is our real reason for coming down. There is a Buick national car show and races at Beechbend Raceway. Dinner again was in the slowcooker so I got that started and we are off. We spent the whole day at the show. We caught up with old friends and meet some new ones. It was a nice warm sunny day. It felt good to be outside! Once we got back we had dinner and a repeat of last night. Bike ride down for ice cream, movie and, bed.

Today we are going to explore Mammoth Cave. I pre purchased our tour tickets before we left home. We just did the short tour Frozen Niagara it was about a hour long. This was a nice tour I would recommend it! After the tour we did some hiking around the park. It was a beautiful day out. We then went back to the campground had a snack and checked on dinner. Before we left I started dinner in the slow cooker. I also called Disney and ordered are Halloween Party tickets. My husband loaded up are bikes. We decided to bike around Mammoth park. This trip was just the two of us. I think that the time has come that most of are trips now will be this way. We left off bright and early. Wanted to get thru Chicago before it got bad. Had the camper loaded the night before. It has been a cold and rainy spring here. We live in southern Wisconsin. Looking forward to some warm sunny days. I know this is a old post but, we just stayed at cave country. It now has a pool and in the office they have a pool table. We loved it here sites are level pull thru. Restrooms super clean restrooms. We did a a drive thru of singing hills I did not see any swings we thought the place needed some work. If you need a place for the night it would do. For longer stays go to cave country.

Just back and we loved Creekside! I would recommend it.

We have never been to the Halloween party. We did Christmas and had a great time. Looking to go at going on Labor day. Does anybody know if this night will be more busy because of the holiday? I know in the past they gave out snacks and drinks. I only saw candy listed are they stopping this and giving a tote bag in it's place?

I was looking at the Disney experience site for things to do on our next trip. I came across this activity. For 25.00 at Coronado Springs you can make a mosaic in the shape of Mickey. It looks like fun and considering doing this. As anyone done this or seen these?

I just saw a discount for Disney visa card members. August 28th thru September 19th. It says it does include campsites. I just called and only available for tent pop up or premium meadows. Hope this helps someone. We have reservations in full hook up so no help to us.

I'm so glad to hear that people like full hook up sites. We have always been in tent pop up sites. With are new to us travel trailer we are booked in full hook up in September.

Reservations made for Creekside. The guy on the phone was super friendly! Always a good sign.

Thanks for the response. It looks like Pigeon Forge campground is over a 100.00 more. It does look really nice though. We are looking for nice and clean it will just be the two of us as are son has somehow become become a grown up?

Has anyone stayed at Creekside Rv Park? Thinking about staying here it looks nice but first hand knowledge is always the best.

Husband and I are up girls are sleeping. We make a variety of things for breakfast using up things we have. Girls are still sleeping we eat, get dressed girls are still sleeping. I always wanted to do this. Is it worth the money?

Success we find a great grocery store about 30 min away. We did not have a stove in are pop up we are excited to try out are new one. I know it doesn't take much. We get some meatballs from the deli and we are making spaghetti with jar red sauce. We also get some rice for the phone, smore stuff and, a few more items for the ride home. Today is the day why we came here. We are going hiking and and find a waterfall. We have a quick breakfast and look over the map we got at check in. We pack up a change of shoes, towels, sunscreen, snacks and, water. It is a beautiful day! Blue sky shinning sun and about 90 out. We drive a few miles down the road and find the parking lot for the waterfall. It is a short hike down and it is really beautiful! You can walk around in the water and even walk behind the waterfall. Before I go on I almost forgot about this odd thing. While we were at Hershey Camping resort on are last night I went into the bathroom. Now the bathroom was pretty full at this time of night as women were getting their families ready for bed. Showers ,teeth brushed ,pj's on etc. They have a counter of sinks I think there was 5 sinks. When I walked in I saw a young twenty something with a electric shaver shaving her hair at the middle sink. I might be in the wrong here but it grossed me out. Hair was flying all over the place. Yes it was a jolt! They started to do some maintenance around are site and I thought that is kind of rude. All of a sudden it hit me we got to go. It would of been bad if we would of taken the route we were on. The alternate was bad enough. Very steep winding hills.

Today we are leaving Hershey. We have some time before we have to leave. We enjoy a nice breakfast and get ready. We are going to Chocolate world today. We walk up to the front and take the shuttle. This time we have a different driver. Chocolate world and the Theme park are right next to each other so, just one shuttle. This driver informs us that only the front of the theme park is open.
