We check in on March 25 and stay until April 1.

Just finished ours yesterday for our trip in couple weeks.

I was hoping to get one for out trailer when we get to the Fort in couple weeks.

I lived in San Diego for 18years so to me bad/rush hour traffic is 5 mph for mile and miles. Hoping to get to Fort between noon and 1pm. So if traffic isn't that bad then I will stay on freeway. If not will have to look at alternative route. Just don't want to do stop lights! !!!

Ok,,,,, Now I need more info on getting to fort.......Stopping for night in Kingsland GA on Thursday. Hoping to leave there by 9am and head to Fort. Was planning on I95 to I4 to keep it simple ( towing 36ft travel trailer). What route would you guys recommend from I95 to avoid being stuck in traffic?

If I am taking I95 south to I4 on my way to fort from VA will I encounter any tolls? Thanks

Lets hear them. I am not into frozen drinks but I hear that is mostly what I will find. Other then beer . At Restaurants are the only drinks available what is listed on the menu? Only looking at Parks and The Fort. All ready aware of MK being dry......

Wanting to find place to park near beach ( anywhere in Florida that would be on our way up or down 95 to the fort). Thinking it would be nice for Wife and kids to spend a few minutes on the beach. With 36ft travel trailer driving around to find a place isn't a option!! Thanks

Looks like we are going to leave in AM so made reservation at KOA St Marys on way down and KOA in Yessamme on way home.

Will bus to WL then bus to MK get you their in time for rope drop?

What are the advantages, if any, of doing online check in 60 days out as opposed to doing it few weeks before we leave? Planning on doing online check-in and faxing site request. Working on all my fastpass+ options too........

We probably won't leave Virginia until 2pm, so I am not sure that making it all the way to Florida Thursday night will be an option (with gas stops probably about 10-10.5 hours). But If we can get on the road earlier I will look into St Marys or the Welcome Center. Hoping not to get too tired before we get there.

We have looked into New Green Acres and a few others in the area. We would like to get as far as we can the first night. Will only be stopping to get some sleep then get back on road first thing. So we aren't going to make any reservations. Just going to hit the road and if we get to a point we want to stop and it is early we will call and see if we can get a site. If it is late then we hit the closest Walmart.

Looks like we are going to plan on stopping at Walmart. Depending on how we feel either Walterboro, SC, Hardeeville, SC or Savannah GA.Would like to make Hardeeville or even Savannah GA so we can get checked in earlier the next day.

We are debating for dinner the day we are at DHS taking boat to Swan/Dolphin and walking over to Big River Grill and Brewing Co. for dinner. Any advice on this. Thought it would be nice to see more things then just what is in the parks. Just worried cause they don't have reservations. Or can I call and make reservation? Thanks in advance....... We were thinking that 1400 would be good for them and figured it would have kids their age too? With everything I have looked at I like either 500, 400 or 1400( for kids). Not sure about 600 ( don't think I would want to be on Fort Wilderness Trail side).

When we go they will be , DS11, DD9. For them play ground would only be if they couldn't find anything else to do. How is 500 loop?
