Swap 5th wheel for Class A MoHo?
PGHFiend replied to PGHFiend's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
That's where I would be with my dually. Is it a bummer to see the Moho engine and tranny sit so much? I like the 5th wheel because I know the truck in and out and can tell when it needs attention because I drive it every day. Something about jumping in something that sat for 3 months and driving 1000 miles just seems scary. -
Swap 5th wheel for Class A MoHo?
PGHFiend replied to PGHFiend's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
All good points. We'd be looking at a gasser with a v10 (had a truck with one and loved it) So far mainly been looking at Forest River Georgetowns in a 377, 378 floorplan but I'll need to go back a few years to make it doable. I wish I could find one with an outdoor kitchen, I love that feature on my Reflection. I guess I'll know it when I see it. -
Jason A live from WDW on Facebook
PGHFiend replied to BeckersDadJohn's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
That's a bummer. I wonder what it looks like when everyone leaves at the same time. I mean, 11 am on a Sunday is unbelievable so I can't even Imagine what the line would be like. Jason, hope you're having fun! -
Well, wife's family moved to Florida last month and she plans on visiting them often. Since we have the dogs they need to come too. Long trips in the truck, though comfortable in the F350 Dually, are cramped and cause extra work to pack food, move dogs in and out and make stopping at a cracker barrel to overnight a pain if its hot or cold because you either sweat all night or freeze until it warms up. I see many benefits of the class a but love love love my reflection 5th wheel and truck. It just so happens my wife's current car can be flat towed....... I have read some othe

Had a problem going south.

Diesel owners should always carry a spare fuel filter. Easy to change and usually a good place to start. Glad you got it fixed up! -
A whole new rig? Wow! That's really rare. Very cool. You'll have fun upgrading the new one for sure and maybe the kids will help too. I just got (waiting) a new air conditioner from Dometic. They extended the warranty no questions asked because of a bad batch....I was related about that. How many model years newer are you going to get? I wonder what they'll do to the old one?

I think I've read about people parking rigs at various resorts..Port Orleans comes to mind? I'm sure they'll let you leave it somewhere. Though my wife was reading me a bunch of posts on a Fort Facebook page about numerous hit and runs in the overflow. 🍗🍗🍗

I always think it smells like Pirates of the Caribbean when washing my truck at the Fort. 😁 -
KOA Orlando South or ThemeWorld Campground?
PGHFiend replied to PGHFiend's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
No trees is a common thing these days. Would love for campgrounds to put a little something between sites. Makes it less like a parking lot. Thanks for the suggestions. -
Could you imagine how nice the flight attendants would be? Dole whips on the beverage cart? Mickey Pretzels? Could be fun! https://simpleflying.com/disney-airline/

Yes they are. He punches the girls straight in the face. No one comes to help for 5 minutes. I don't care if they were in the farthest reaches of the parks, there should be way more security.

Towing 4 wheels down
PGHFiend replied to disneylitch......Debbie's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Yes you absolutely need a brake buddy or similar. Orlando has the cheapest rental cars in the country and they will bring it to the Fort. If you don't own the right equipment it could be cheaper to rent a car. -
Is anyone making those light up buckets for their campsite?
PGHFiend replied to AuburnJen's topic in Fiendish Designs
We found a great light at Walmart. It's a swimming pool light with remote control. Has many settings and colors to choose from. Under 8 bucks, 2 AAA's. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-LED-Swimming-Pool-Wall-Light/353009980 -
If you haven't seen this, prepare yourself as its vulgar and disturbing that some people have no respect for family let alone others around them. My issue with it is that it took Disney nearly 5 minutes to respond other than a custodian who happened to be in the area. They should have been on this within 30 seconds, especially with all the money generated by the parks, there should be enough funds to have plain clothes security all over. Ridiculous.

Wow. Great job covering that up...I'd never have expected that. Now, where do they load in the ribs and chicken? -
Never noticed this "store front" before today next ti the arcade entrance. Since I'm new here (2013) I have no idea what this was. Craft room?
