So how long is the transition from Halloween to Christmas? A week? Overnight? Can I catch both in a 6 night stay? -
Halloween vs. Christmas

Hee Hee! I am from Texas (it's own set of problems, I know), and in all of my years, I have never gotten used to the NE accent. I find it so distracting that I discover I'm not listening to what is actually being said. :-[ But then again, my Texan would be like a secret language that they couldn't understand! Looks like Halloween is the way to go. I will most likely move my dates up into Oct a bit to minimize the risk of big crowds. Any preferences on which cabin area y'all like? I agree, sure wouldn't do WDW Christmas Week. Sounds like they transition from Halloween to Christmas pretty quick. That's good to know. That first week of Nov. sounds good, but I think it's Jersey Week too. Anybody been at WDW during Jersey Week? Crowds? -
I thought I had posted a poll on this topic, but now I don't see it. Anyhoo, if you had to choose between Halloween and Christmas, both at the Fort, which do you prefer? Why?

So who has a fax machine anymore? Any other way to communicate a particular loop/site request? -
Good points, thanks. Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) hold their value, but are really up there in price. I think you're right about the appliances. I hadn't thought too much about them, mainly the structure itself. Both brands have an awesome fiberglass clamshell design, which really cuts down on roof issues. I am leaning toward the new one. Good to know about bargaining, all they can do is say "no", right? The new one is 2014. Can't wait to get to the Fort!

I am new to FortFiends! Once I discovered that I don't want to stay anywhere else at WDW, I found this place. My DH and I are looking at acquiring a travel trailer, between 19 and 23 feet long. We've had truck campers before, but now we're ready to something where we don't have to pole vault into bed every night. We live in CO, so we definitely need a true 4 season trailer. It's kinda narrowed down to a new Creekside 20FQ or a used (2001 year) 22' Bigfoot. Prices are about the same, so that's no help. Also, are there differences between a truck camper and travel trailer (besides towing a
