  1. Thanks to the Majors we got to experience the Fort for the First time. The pop up felt just like home (we live in a cardboard box anyways), the kids had a blast (minus a few break downs), and the Mr. got to rest after having surgery. Everything happens for a reason and I am glad we took Jen up on the offer. The Fort is just like entering another world. It's the lifestyle we knew we could fit in. FF are an amazing group of crazy ass's. If we were not rolling with the Majors, we would of probably called security on you. However, honestly we fit right in with this group. We were pretty ta

  3. I wanted to give this a bump because it happened a year ago this weekend and I thought the message bears repeating this time of year when so many of you are traveling. Original post is here

  4. When we lost our first border collie Maggie suddenly (almost 6 years ago) Brian and I dealt with it very differently. We were both in shock for quite a while as she was only 6 and it came completely out of the blue (vet error during routine surgery). For a while neither of us could even believe it. 10. I make no secret of the fact that Illuminations is not only a traditional WDW evening for me, but also my favorite of the nighttime shows at WDW. I'll be sad to see it go, but I won't complain unless the new show isn't good... then I'll complain loudly.

  11. Wait a minute, hold on, you people are being way to nice to LL. If this keeps up, she'll think she's a member and will start being Snarky towards me.

  12. H has spent his last night in the Hayfield. And he didn't move to another hayfield. He moved by the river. The Althahama River. 2 miles from work and the Family Activities Center. Remember the one with the death warnings all along the entrance road? One half hour closer to home and to the Onion Capitol of the Free World. Cell phone signal INSIDE the camper. Now he won't have to go outside to the outer reaches of the earth and stand on his head to call me. He has neighbors. There is shade. And outdoor garden swings. And ants. Lots of ants. From Hayseed to River rat. Another adventure b
